GAME CONCEPT
In the deap ocean, all creatures have lost their color. You are a small sponge who decide to explore the bottom of the sea, find colors that fishes want, and make them colorful again. We try to create a poetic atmosphere with a sad story to express a sense of loneliness and represent the relationship between gain and loss.
TEAM INTRODUCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
This is my first time participating in a game jam. I completed this project online with 7 people from different regions who work in different industries. It was a very interesting experience!

MAKING PROCESS
The theme was presented in the form of video. After listing all the elements that have appeared in the video, I thought of an interesting method: I tore them into pieces and mixed them together, and then randomly selected 2-3 pieces of paper from them and placed them together, trying to imagine their coexistence. And interestingly many good ideas were born.
REFLECTION
After completing the planning documents on the first day, I actively participated in various group chats as the project manager on the second day. Soon I discovered a problem: due to communication barriers caused by online production, there was a problem with the docking of the two programmers. I immediately discussed the current implementation progress with them, and listed the specific technical requirements form to facilitate the division of labor. At the same time, I also joined them to build the game together. In the end, we successfully completed our game and achieved the "Last Countdown" achievement: an extra game package was created in the last hour of Game Jam. This is because the two programmers have different ways of implementing the core mechanism, and interestingly another gameplay has been developed.
I think this experience is a process of breaking through myself. In just 48 hours, 8 strangers who did not know each other spent all night for the same project! This is really amazing. Although there were various setbacks in the middle, everyone's positive attitude and willingness to communicate made the trouble much easier to solve!
