Way to the Wonderland

GAME CONCEPT

Our inspiration came from an ancient Chinese literary classic Peach Blossom Spring(《桃花源记》), which told the story of a poor fisherman who stumbled into a peaceful wonderland when people's lives were ruined by the war. We quoted its original texts, combined with traditional Chinese game--anagrams, to help and guide players out of the fog and find the fairyland.

Our GREAT Team!

CORE GAMEPLAY

We tried to integrate Chinese word riddles(anagrams) into the flow of the game.

In this environment where it is easy to get lost, the riddle is the only guide for the player.

Q: 

A cow("牛") has a tail.

Guess a character.

A:

"生", which has the meaning of alive

so the player need to release the fish he just caught.

​MAP DESIGN PART

I was responsible for conceiving the general layout of the entire game world, interspersing the collected riddles in each area reasonably, and constructing the terrain on this basis to ensure that players can be smoothly guided and complete the exploration.
